We’re open!
We did it! Well, we did A LOT! And by "we", I mean a bunch of big-hearted, hard-working friends, neighbors and a few dedicated employees who chose to work far outside of their regularly scheduled duties. "Gratitude and appreciation" don't quite describe my feels toward these beautiful humans...I am so blessed to be surrounded by so many good people!
What did we do?! We came together to bring my vision of "Ma's Kitchen" at The Station to life! We changed the physical space of 11369 Main Street in Historic Downtown Trempealeau to accommodate more lingering a little longer, more efficiency in the kitchen, and more sunshine on the walls. We brought new life to old pieces, and got to revel in scoring deals at our favorite thrifting place, The Habitat for Humanity Restore!
I even got to take a field-trip day to one of our new coffee roasters, who happen to also be internet radio rockstar's! You'll be hearing more about our friends at Happy Productions in the near future, but you can listen to their livestream 24/7 right now and taste their coffee on Sundays (now) and Wednesdays (in March) down at The Station. Talk about happy...man, it doesn't get more serendipitous than this!
It wasn't all rainbows and unicorns, but darn close! Due to unforeseen shipping hiccups, our menu changes have been delayed by a week or two and our signage and seating changes (oh, wait til THAT'S finished!) will be revealed as they are completed.
We were so excited to see so many new and old faces as we re-opened yesterday with a renewed sense of community, friendship and service in a pretty cool space! We are BEYOND excited to begin Soul Sundays this week at 3pm with a discussion/Q&A on The Artist's Way, A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity. Please consider joining us to satisfy your curiosity of this life-changing work while we share personal experiences we hope will help you decide whether it's YOUR time for this kind of journey!
We look forward to serving you and your soul real soon...down at The Station.
